In September 2009 the OYT-East changed the name of our organisation to the Thames Youth Sailing Trust. The new name will help to invigorate the organisation with new blood, whether trustees, members or supporters and provide our charity with a better opportunity for raising funding and the capital that will enable us to purchase a new vessel. We will be still operating in, and serving the same geographic area of the UK but using St Katherine’s Yacht Haven (next to Tower Bridge), London as the centre of our operations. However we will have a new name and fresh identity to meet future needs.
